No submit button [Fixed]

After you get stuck "loading" and no submit button, instead of clicking refresh or back, please find the JavaScript error and post it here.

If you are using Internet Explorer, double click this icon in the bottom-left of your window when the problem occurs:



You will get a description of the JavaScript error... please copy it here and then I can probably fix this!

If you are using FireFox click on Tools -> Error Console. Then click the Errors button to filter out warnings, and scroll down to the bottom to get the most recent errors. Copy and paste the Speed Sudoku error here.

In addition to checking the possible JavaScript error, there are a few other things that you all might be able to do to help us solve the problem. If you're having any kind of connection problem on a regular basis, we're needing some additional information:

Browser
Operating System
Firewall/Internet Security Software
Using a proxy or anything else unusual

If you're concerned about posting any of that information in public, please send it to me in a PM. It'll be protected under our Privacy Policy like other personal information is.

We really are trying to find the solution to these problems, but we need your help in order to recreate and solve the problem. Thanks.

I've got error code 0 and there was no submitted button, just keep loading. Finally I have to quit as I've lost all numbers.

I have lost a lot of points today because there was no submit button! I never had these problems before, but today it happens several times.

I've got the problems again and lost many hundreds points . The latest game was # 101652, I've lost at least -273points but I had to quit before the game ended so finally may lose more than that. I happened several times a day with error code 0. There was no submitted button and the refresh button didn't work at all. Actually, I've never seen it worked.

I'VE ALREADY CHECKED IT. fINALLY i LOST -373POINTS! IT'S NOT FAIR AT ALL, THE GAME BEFORE THIS ONE BUT i FORGOT THE GAME NUMBER, i ALSO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND NEEDED TO FILL THE NUMBERS AGAIN AND AGAIN BECAUSE i KEPT LOSING NUMBERS. THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATED.

yongyee, please avoid using all caps in your post. You have to give us more information that I asked for in my earlier post in order to help you. We understand that you're frustrated, but you have to help us if you want the issue to be fixed. Yelling about it won't make any progress.

Ha Ha I'm so sorry Caedda. I was so frustrated last night while I lost so many points due to connection problems. However, I have to frankly say that I only know that status code zero was shown up. I'm not good in computer so I just don't know how to tell you. If there is nobody else facing the same problem as mine so it doesn't matter. I'll just try to keep collecting up my points again

Ok, here's a summary of what went wrong for me:

In the middle of the game, I temporarily lost my internet connection.
The game popped up the 'error, wait 10 seconds?' message like it always does when I lose connection. It happens occasionally, no big deal.
I chose cancel and continued to work the puzzle.
About a minute later, before my internet connection had fixed itself, I decided to click the 'refresh' button next to the sudoku puzzle to see what would happen. Keep in mind that I have no internet connection at this point.

After I clicked refresh, it gave me this error:

Error with the request: status code is 404 and status text is Not Found

And the page would not refresh. even after my connection was restored, the game was still 'loading'.

Using Firefox 3.

There were no errors listed in the 'error console' you described earlier.

Where do you find the java script error?

I get a similar problem quite consistently when using my wireless connection. Almost never when wired. A game will cease loading, and my wireless connection dies completely (or the other way around?). My wireless never dies any other time, but if I've been playing sudoku for a while (~1 hour?) it almost always freezes. I have to reboot my computer to get it back.

Haven't seen any error logs, but I'll look for some next time it happens.
