yes this is a mutistep puzzle: it requires

singles -> 2x blr -> 2strong kite -> empty recatange -> finnied Sword fish -> singles -> xy wing - blr x2 -> singles to the end.
i dont have time to post them all or a faster solution : but this site can show the above easy enough

how many different ways to solved this puzzle ?

begin with 12 singles.

single digit pattern of digit 1 => r9c2<>1
which gives four more singles..(r9c2, r7c3, r9c5, r7c5)

from r7c4 (3 or 5)
if r7c4=5...c6r45=(pair of 2,5) => r6c4=1...meaning r6c4<>3
if r7c4=3 => r6c4<>3
so either r7c4 is a 3 or 5, r6c4<>3
which gives us another single... r6c4=1

should be all singles from here on..
